How do I play TheWaveVR?
The beta version of TheWaveVR is available on Steam Early Access. You can download TheWaveVR and Steam if you don't already have it on our Steam store page.
What equipment do I need to play TheWaveVR?
You'll need a supported virtual reality header and a computer with the following minimum specifications:
- OS: Windows 10
- Processor: 3GHz Multicore
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 970/AMD R9 290
- Storage: 17 GB available space
What are the supported headsets?
We currently offer full support for the following headsets:
- HTC Vive
- Oculus Rift
We currently have experimental compatibility with the following headsets:
- Windows Mixed Reality headset family
Any unlisted PC-based headsets are unsupported and may not be able to deliver our designed experience.
Can I DJ my own tracks?
Currently, your track selection is limited to what we provide you. We're hard at work expanding the functionality of our DJ decks though, so stay tuned!
Why can't I chat with other users?
Make sure your Windows sound settings are set up correctly. Your default playback device should be the Vive's headphones (or the speakers you intend to use), and the default recording device should be the Vive's microphone.
Right click the speaker icon in your system tray to access the Windows sound settings.

Launch TheWaveVR and go to the The Expanse to see when the next show is (or if there's a show currently happening!) Or follow us on Twitter @TheWaveVR for the latest updates.
